Job Description

Works with the business and the development teams to ensure understanding of the requirements

Creates Functional Design documents based on BRD documents

Develop functional system requirements such as the scope, business rules, wire frames/mockups, flow diagrams, entry points, happy paths, alternate paths, risk factors, project dependencies, overall assumptions, etc. 

Communicate with the cross-functional teams on a regular basis to ensure alignment of the project requirements with the functional system requirements

Review and provide high level design knowledge across multiple projects

Provide business knowledge mentoring support for new/junior members of the both the Development & Support Teams

Support infrastructure, testers, developers, project manager and technical teams with functional expertise and leadership through dev, design, coding, testing, implementation and warranty
