COMPANY:
Our client is a 100% subsidiary of a well known US based speciality chemicals co. The co is a global leader in speciality chemicals.
In India, the co has modern, fully automated plants at various locations in Maharashtra & South India.
REQUIREMENT:
Good knowledge of all HR, ADMN tools, plant /department operations and processes
Fully conversant with all labour laws, regulatory, permit, and company requirements for areas of responsibility and audit requirements
Excellent people management & communication skills
Must have excellent understanding of requirements of business / site administration, Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliances and related areas.
Good computer skills to work with all HR/ADMN WP and tools
Should understand plant operating discipline / process issues that impact company environmental goals
Candidates from similar industry with general understanding of chemical processes would have an advantage.
KRAS:
Would be responsible for general HR, IR & Administration functions for the TALOJA plant
Including
Plant Level Recruitment & separation formalities
Contract labour requirements, Passport formalities, safety training
Ensuring Compliance under Contract Labour Act – Renewal application for R.C amendment, Licences, PF & other compliances
Liaison with Govt., Semi Govt. Depts., Local Bodies, Industrial Associations
All administration for the plant including transport, uniforms, canteens, AMCs for office equipment, utilities, housekeeping, general upkeep and maintenance, horticulture & gardening
IMPORTANT:
This is an independent position reporting to the Plant Head administratively and Head HR functionally. The co. has a flat organizational structure with several of the support functions outsourced to external consultants.View the original article here
