Job Description

Candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Routers and switches. Experience on product lines like uBR10K, uBR72xx, 12000, 7600, 7200, 6500 product lines will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DOCSIS, CMTS, QoS, and VLANs are required. Hands-on with network troubleshooting tools such as sniffer, ethereal and traffic generation tools such as Spirent and Ixia is required. Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIP, CCIE etc.), knowledge of MPEG, Video-On-Demand (VOD), PacketCable technologies would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities would include understanding customer network requirements, writing and executing test cases for validating the functional design and scalability features of products and/or solutions. Candidate would be required to work directly with Customer, Account Team and Business Units and hence requires good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Work locations will be Bangalore. The role requires moderate amount of international travel and stay.
