Job Description
Ensuring high network uptime to meet business requirement by analyzing the faults and identifying the root cause of the failures.
Corrective and Preventive maintenance of the Optical Fiber Network.
Ensure maintenance of SLA’s for Network availability and MTTR as per set objectivities.
Control no. of faults and MTTR within targets.
Issuing guidelines for network failure preventive measures and ensuring implementation of guidelines.
Monitoring Equipment/OFC vendor SLAs and Performance.
Tracking of issues/ field complaints open with Vendors.
Tracking of critical issues and escalate to management and vendor.
OFC related critical issues of respective circles & field feedback, resolutions, implementation.
Providing high-level technical support for resolving critical network problems.
Ensuring deployment of spares, Test and Measurement equipments, tools for meeting MTTR and timely replenishment of faulty component.
Conducting reliability audit of the sites to ensure good health of OFC network.
Analysis of OFC faults, Planning and issuing guideline for improvement in OFC Network to increase network availability.
Management of O & M readiness for network expansion.
Optimization and reduction of O&M cost within budget.
