Chief Engineer Laboratory
Required candidates for the above position with minimum 10 years experience in the field.Supervise all laboratory Engineers and technical staff.
Check the measurement methods for Custom release.
Service repair, maintenance of the equipment and prepare test reports.
Advise the Engineers and technicians on measurement methods.
Responsible for the implementation of schedule for the calibration and maintenance.
Responsible for document control process among the departments
Responsible for documentation displaying procedures for fault finding, repair and service on all type of equipment in use in the project.
To make sure the requirement and availability of spare parts for the equipment.
To write down procedures specifications and methods for updating and calibration of the equipment in use.
Operate and train engineers and technicians on latest test and monitoring equipment.
Checking of the report for the custom release of the equipment and coordinate with licensing department.
Administrative work related to the correspondence with manufacturers, equipment importers and training of the engineers and technicians is a part of the job.
To elaborate more, please note that the lab. is for "calibration and repair of electronics equipment" used in Frequency Management Project. Some of the equipment being repaired in this lab are as follows;
Signal GeneratorsSpectrum AnalyzersDirection Finder Equipment (DF)OscilloscopesHF, VF and UHF ReceiversAttenuatorsFunction GeneratorsPenoromicDigital MultimetersPower SupplyFrequency CounterPower MeterThe lab has 3 calibration technicians and one Engineer under the Chief Engineer.
