Job Description
Position: - Mobile TV- Sr. Engineer
Experience: - 3 - 8 Years
Location: - Delhi/Ncr
Position Details
Responsibilities:
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for customizing the EPG (Electronic Programming Guide) for the Mobile TV applications.
He/She would be taking the requirements to proceed into the software development life cycle of Design, Coding and Testing for delivering the software source code for the mobile TV application.
The Senior Engineer is also responsible for the maintenance and customization of field releases of Mobile TV.
The Senior Engineer will mentor and guide the other team members for development processes and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
Must be able to design and code as per requirements.
Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
Must have knowledge of SDLC processes.
Should have experience in development on linux and windows platforms.
Should have knowledge and experience on working on mobile applications.
Should have architectural knowledge of 2.5G and 3G networks.
Familiarity with VAS on mobile devices in 2.5 G and 3G and the architectural interfaces
LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE:
4-6 years in web services application development
2+ years of experience in mobile VAS development.
4+ years of experience in software development and debugging.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong Knowledge of the following:
· PHP, HTML, JS
· Mysql
· Processes on Unix and Linux operating system
· Apache webserver
Knowledge of programming languages TCL, PERL, and UNIX Shell scripts is must.
Good spoken and written communication skills.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
