Job Description

Position 1:  Oracle Core DBA
Experience: 3-7 Yrs

Resolve competing and conflicting system requirements in a worldwide, multiple division installation environment.
Administer worldwide Oracle Portal , Forms , Reports , Discoverer and Warehouse Builder.
Interface Oracle 10g and 11g databases to J.D. Edwards and MS SQL  Symphony environments.
Perform 10g database installations , upgrades , migrations , and database tuning in a large scale environment , supporting 1000+ concurrent users in databses of 200+GB or greater on Windows and Unix environments including Redhat  Linux , HP-UX and Solaris.
Installation and configuration of Oracle IAS 10g on Redhat Linux 64bit AS 5.0
Installation, configuration and support of 11g Dataguard.
Configuration and troubleshooting of HSODBC and TG4MSSQL database links.
Configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle Discovere Portlets.
Installation and configuration and Support of 11g Dataguard.
Configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle Discoverer Portlets.
Installation and configuration of Oracle Warehouse builder (OWB) 10g/11g.
Upgrade and migrate Oracle 10g databases, write scripts, and implement data structure change requests.
Oversee table space management and user role management. Modify existing databases and database management systems. Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information.
Develop standards and guideline to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.

Desired Profile:
Experience must include the performance of oracle database functions in a large enterprise environment,supporting 1000+ concurrent users in databases of 200+GB or greater and include working experience in with IAS 10g,11g Dataguard,Oracle Gateway,Discoverer Admin and Oracle Warehouse builder.
Must be willing to be member of a team providing worlwide support and occasionally be available outside normal working hours on an on-call basis.
