Position: - System Testing

Experience: - 3 - 6 Years

Location: - Delhi/Ncr

Position Details

Responsibilities:

The System Test Engineer carries out a number of functions including planning and coordinating tests and resources, configuring the test environment, participating in the integration of new software development releases, undertaking system and acceptance testing and verifying and documenting problem resolution

Requirements:

Must be capable of reviewing design documents and formulating test plans, test procedures, and test cases.

Develop and execute test plans and test cases per customer/marketing/engineering requirements.

Ensure that all problems found during test are effectively debugged and logged by using a defect tracking system and interacting with the development team.

Initiating test plans, provide status reviews, and setup lab/test environment for proper test case execution and reporting test completion status.

Communicate effectively with all team members and with the management team concerning product failures and defect (verbal and written communication).

Should be able to train other team members for the above tasks

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE:

4-6 years in a related field with a focus on Web technologies like PHP, HTML, Javascript.

Experience in IPTV testing is an added advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong Knowledge about the following technologies:

IPTV technologies including middleware, encoders and EPG

Web technologies like PHP, HTML, JS

Knowledge of programming languages TCL, PERL, and UNIX Shell scripts.

Strong analytical ability.

Good spoken and written communication skills.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent.
