Job Description

Key work Accountabilities / Responsibilities for the Position Holder:

Role will be Technical Architect Role (  includes travel to onsite US/UK for 2-3 months)

Would be responsible for building a team and leading a team of 10 members.

Design and implementation of AS (L1/L2/L3) technology on a next generation wireless platform

Interpretation of 3GPP specifications – specifically the physical layer for WCDMA.

Architecture and detailed design of critical software components surrounding the PHY Layer.

Implementation and test of DSP code.

Performance analysis and optimization.

Embedded C development on Multicore-Multiprocessor DSP target

Mandatory Skills:

The candidate must have a good understanding of digital communications, signal processing, general programming techniques, 3GPP WCDMA, and 3GPP LTE (desirable).

 DSP/Software engineering experience (minimum 5-6 years experience) developing wireless protocols ( WCDMA, HSPA, HSPA Evolution, CDMA, EVDO, etc).

Baseband experience is a plus. Experience with software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and review, design, implementation and testing. Experience using software design methodologies and software configuration management.

Strong C development skills are required in this role.

Good knowledge of DSP systems is required.
