Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of embedded real time software on BelAir’s Outdoor multi-radio products. The candidate will have a good understanding of real time software and IP networking protocols, preferably familiarity with relevant 802.11, 802.16, 3GPP radio technologies. Solid C coding on embedded RTOS experience is a must. The candidate will be involved in multiple software layers from radio device drivers, RTOS, IP networking, radio MAC up to the OAM and application layers running on high performance embedded processors.

As a member of the software development team, the successful candidate will work with multiple other BelAir teams including product verification, hardware and systems engineering, technical support in order to ensure end-to-end delivery of new features. As required, the candidate will establish close relationship with product management and the end customer in order to ensure compliance to market requirements.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Network Appliance embedded software development
- Multi-radio product software feature development
- Advanced knowledge of C and Linux  Operating Systems .
- Wide ranging data communication experience covering aspects of layer 2 bridging and layer 3 routing and tunneling IP networking protocols.
- Experience in developing OAM software layers (CLI, HTTP, SNMP, embedded databases)
- Embedded WEB GUI development
- Experience with radio MAC layer and/or associated wireless protocols is an asset
- Ability to work closely with hardware verification environments
- Experience with end to end software development including s/w specification, design methodologies and processes, and design for testability

Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or rated fields
- Experience: 3+ years of real time telecom software development experience
