Master Mariner (FG) with experience in  Project Cargo.

GENERAL MANAGER (GM) Operations-ShippingVisakhapatnam (Vizag)

Candidates should be Master Mariner (FG) with experience RProject Cargo.

The candidate should be a Master Mariner (FG) and must have sailing experience in  Project Cargo or multi cargo vessels.

Exposure and relevant experience in managing an independent Branch would be great. Candidates with experience in Port Operations functions preferred but even sailing Masters can apply.

They must have experience in handling Project Cargo, Lifts on/ Lifts off . They must be able to effectively manage people and external agencies.

Job responsibilities include organizing and controlling commercial activities, business development, and co-ordination with principals, capacity allocation to optimize revenue, market share and maximize lifting's, market development - identify, contact and retain new customers. Must be able to independently correspond and communicate with Principals. Will also have to communicate and enforce operational standards to ensure fast turnaround of the vessels in port, loading & discharge of cargo, turnaround of equipment, coordinate with external agencies like Port, Customs etc., Must be able to enforce cost effectiveness, customer satisfaction, problem solving, compliance, claim prevention, operational safety standards, capacity management and team management, improving operational procedures, service innovation, monitoring, office administration, branch accounting-MIS, payables, receivables etc.
