Job Description

Job Responsibilities

- Write functional specifications for software components

- Design and Implement features using agile methodologies

- Diagnose and troubleshooting complex technical problems

- Ensure highest quality for components developed. Develop unit tests and integration tests for the components

- Mentor junior members of the team

- Help technical support department on customer cases and escalations

Qualifications

- Minimum of 8+ years of software development experience

- Extensive application development experience in Core java,Flex,UI.

- Strong background in Object-oriented programming, Data Structures and Design Patterns

- Good understanding of Database concepts

- Excellent understanding of unit test frameworks and methodologies

- Knowledge of Log4j, JUnit, Spring

- Good understanding of distributed client server applications

- Quick learner with strong technical and analytical (problem solving) skills

- Must have good communication and team interaction skills

Considered a big plus

- Previous experience in the Storage domain especially SRM

-Good understanding of RDF/Ontology concepts

- Working knowledge of Linux operating system
