SAP Applications Team Lead

Required Basic Qualifications:
SAP Applications Technical Lead with 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP 4.7/6.0 (or similar), SAP business suite applications, and/or SAP Netweaver. Need demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
R/3 (4.7 Ent - FI/CO/ SD/MM/WM/PP/QMmods)
CRM (4.0 - channel mngt)
SRM (4.0 - EBP)
SCM (1.5 - Event Mgr)
GTS (3.0)
Netweaver (04 w/ XI 3.0)
Solution Mgr (7.0)
SAPGUI (6.2)

Candidate should have the ability to lead and direct assignments for SAP Application Support/System Analysts, SAP Application Developers, External Custom Developers.  Ability to work with IT and business personnel to define solution options; experience with process improvement, cost control, improving system supportability The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is a must. Excellent leadership skills are required.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidate would have experience with leading globally distributed teams on complex projects and has travelled to other countries during the course of the projects.

Primary and Secondary Responsibilities:

In this role, candidate will be responsible for day-to-day planning, operation, and problem-solving to ensure the global team meets its required commitments. Responsibilities include:
•  Facilitating communication between customers, developers, US team members, and management. 
•  Ensuring that all groups are communicated to within a timely manner.
•  Setting priorities for global team members.
•  Monitoring team performance to ensure each team member stays on schedule and meets their deadlines.
•  Coaching and providing feedback to individuals regarding performance and development opportunities.
•  Providing input to supervisor for performance reviews and development discussions.

Management/Organizational Skills:
•  Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
•  Ability to express and understand complex technical concepts, are essential for success in this role.
•  Excellent multi tasking and prioritization skills
•  Self motivated, self directed, and work efficiently
•  Proven ability to lead a group of SAP developers / analysts
•  Flexible      •    Quality oriented
•  Develop plans that are comprehensive, realistic, and effective
•  Excellent organizational and relationship building skills are required.

Special work environment: While the role is based out of Bangalore, candidate is required to travel to Philippines very frequently and be willing to stay there for couple of weeks at a time. Additional international travel may be required.
