Job Description:
Design and develop software modules under Linux environment for IP Packets sniffing and processing You will be core member of the development team. You will be responsible for design, development, unit testing and integration of modules and features for the Kommlabs' Lawful Intercept platform This is a hands-on position requiring exposure to the full software development life cycle, strong technical and programming backgroundDesired Profile:
The ideal candidate must have minimum of 3 years of development experience in open source development environment (gcc, g++, make etc.) Programming experience with Linux kernel 2.6 You should have hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains: Linux multi core and multi CPU programming for high speed packet data processing Protocol analysis and decoding of LAN and WAN traffic including HTTP, IM, P2P, SIP, RTP, H.323, PPP, HDLC, RADIUS, WPA2 etc Application development using telephony boards for SS7 over TDM and SS7 over IP (SIGTRAN)Excellent debugging skills both at protocol level (sniffer traces, tcp-dump, etc) and systems level (with kernel debugger). Knowledge of Lawful Intercept standards such as ETSI, J-STD-025,  PacketCable, etc. would be an added advantage Should work collaboratively with other engineers, and be willing to take on any engineering tasks that contribute to the specific goals of the team and of the company. Excellent oral and written communication skills
