Global Talent Track (GTT) is a path breaking global educational initiative and corporate training solutions company, set up by some of the best minds from the industry, academia and technology domains. Funded by Intel Capital and Helion Ventures, The company was set up in 2008, with a vision to make 5,00,000 youth of the country employable by the end of 5 years. The venture aims to provide ‘quality with scale’, through programs delivered using innovative technologies and compelling content.

The venture has been established to train aspiring students on vocational skills that will help them get ready for the industry, and eliminate the gap existent in their employability quotient. GTT has successfully rolled out its thought leadership & blended learning model in 15 states across India. The requirement is for trained manpower that can be readily deployed in large numbers across various sectors. The entire learning platform is guided by an assessment tool which assists students in choosing their career path by discovering their inherent attributes in addition to finding their domain proficiency.

To narrow the growing gap between the supply and demand of trained resources, Global Talent Track (GTT) has partnered with CISCO and the leading Universities, Institutions and Government bodies in India to support the emerging growth requirements of the industry. The proposal envisages a consortium approach, with a public-private partnership, which brings together the multiple capabilities required to build a robust model that could be successfully deployed across the country.

GTT has been engaged with skill development initiatives in various states across Asia through associations with government agencies and Universities namely Asia e University (AeU), International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), Beyond Core, Sharada University, University of jammu and Kashmir, Punjab Infotech, Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation (MKCL), Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation (RKCL)and eBits. GTT also has successful linkages with the industry to design career oriented content and thus partnered with leading technology companies-namely CISCO, IBM, Siemens and others in the areas of content delivery. GTT has also been working closely with hundreds of leading Corporates including organizations such as Mphasis EDS, Wipro, Zensar, Infosys, ICICI Prudential, to name a few, for developing talent in tune with their requirements.
