Job Description
Reporting to Sr.Manager
Key objectives of the job:
To undertake site survey, installation, integration and commissioning of sensors with the Command and Control System.Major Deliverables:
The candidate shall be responsible for the following:
Undertake product (An Advanced Radar and Electro Optics based Perimeter Intrusion Detection System) demonstration at End Customer Sites. This shall include the following:
a. Site Survey.
b. Mechanical and Electronics Integration of the Sensors.
c. Integration of the systems with the customer premises network.
d. Installation and Configuration of the command and control system.
e. Installation and integration of the sensors with the command and control system.
f. Final Commissioning of the system.
- Undertake product training for the end customer.
- The Job involves extensive customer interaction.
Right Person:
Electronics skill set:
• Experience with JTAG Programmers, Simulators, Emulators.
• Testing of Power Supply Modules.
• Flashing and Erasing of EEPROMs via UV programmers etc.
• Experience in handling the following test equipment:
• Oscilloscope / B) Power Supplies and Transformers / C) DMM’s.
Computer Science skill set:
• Basic System Administration skills for Windows and Linux Operation Systems.
• Ethernet Networking Issues.
• Understanding of the BIT.
• Understanding of the following Bus Standards and Protocol Convertors:
• RS-232/425 / b. Ethernet / C) PCI
Desirable Attributes:
• Self Starter and Self Motivated.
• Effective written and spoken communication skills.
• A good team Player.
Resource Pool:
• DPSUs like DRDO, BEL etc.
• Private organizations in Defence and Aerospace
