Job Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchase:
- defines and proposes the purchasing strategy for each of the segments in the short and medium term (with the national network of Regional Purchasing Managers)
- identifies and analyses the current and future requirements of the departments
- develops in-depth knowledge of the market and supplier practices;
- applies purchasing policy and conducts Purchase Vets in association with Purchase Managers (TIPL)
- negotiates and sets up framework agreements with suppliers, manages negotiations with suppliers and specific contracts
- defines logistics procedures with suppliers
- Manages the supplier database (creation, removal, etc.)
- implements an adapted communication plan (internal communications and with suppliers)
- ensures correct implementation of contracts and framework agreements
- Implements supplier performance improvement plans and the Purchasing process
- Manages relations with suppliers, ensures continuous improvement of their performance and implements any necessary action plans (resolution of disputes, improvements in timely delivery, quality, etc.);
- Collaborates with purchaser counterparts in other units in order to identify synergies;
- Preparation of Supplier Evaluation Matrix
- Ensure that the consultation meets Target costs & Timelines
- Interface to Purchase Manager, Quality Manager, Technical Engineer , Thales Business Units all across the world
-  Manages Supply chain and customer order procedure in line with country policy, group policy and processes defined by business owner of Purchasing and Supply Chain
