Job Description
What will you need to succeed? ? Ability to assess and mitigate system integration challenges and proactively drive teams towards resolution. ? Effectively manage, and where necessary coach, direct reports, project team resources and external vendor resources. ? Audit and review key project artifacts and approval authority prior to customer release ? Single point of technical escalation ? Lead launch and rollout preparation activities with customer and orchestrate cutover strategy ? Ability to Analyze system requirements and create work breakdowns for a project ? Applying deep technical expertise and end to end project rollout experience to create detailed solution design and migration strategies ? Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with all customer stakeholders ? Ability to lead technical discussions on best practices and requirements for system integration with senior technical authorities from the customer teams and other vendors ? Understanding of Project management methodology Leadership attributes with functional capability for people management and development portfolio and/or to oversee work activities and deliverables of others. ? Ability to understand customer network and project deliverables and prepare fail proof migration and upgrade strategies. ? A steadfast and calm attitude in stressful situations and an ability to make good decisions with limited information Your technical skills: Prerequisites: ? Exceptional conceptual understanding and operational knowledge of billing solutions and real time rating and charging systems. ? Proven expertise in analysis and troubleshooting of software systems ? Knowledge of mobile telecom networks GSM/CDMA ? Extensive experience with SUN/HP Solaris, Linux and shell/Perl scripting and Oracle ? Excellent written and oral English communication, presentation and negotiation skills ? Excellent organizational skills with the proven ability to work proactively under minimal supervision; Preferred experience: ? Migration / replacement and complex solution upgrade expertise ? Team lead expertise ? Billing Solution configuration and integration expertise with core networks / 3rd party solutions. ? Knowledge of multiple technologies including (but not limited to) TCP/IP, CORBA, SS7, ISDN, Wireless IN strongly preferred ? Knowledge of SQL RDBMS Scripting (Oracle, Informix, mysql) ? Knowledge of configuring network elements including switches, routers, and load-balancers valued The Travel requirements: ?
