Major Duties:

Responsibilities include project management of select contracts within the Interconnection suite of projects for India number portability, including clearinghouse, gateway and network elements. The contracts will be product deliveries and managed services arrangements in the deployment of the number portability solution, including system deployment, industry testing and integration, data center set-up and operations and help desk.  Required skills include strong project management practices, strong oral and written communications skills, and demonstrated ability to interface with both the customer and internal stakeholders.  The candidate should have knowledge and experience with contract risk management processes and program reviews.  This includes contract compliance tracking, financial assessments and project schedule management.

General Responsibilities:

Manages moderately complex projects from inception to completion, across several business units, matching customer needs with resources to achieve project profit and loss objectives. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  Exhibits functional expertise, works on complex problems requiring a high level of ingenuity and creativity gained through years of practical experience.  Frequently contributes to the development of new principles, theories and methods.  Often self initiated, work is usually performed independently with minimal direction from manager. May provide technical leadership to less experienced professional staff, as either a generalist or specialist within area of expertise.
