As part of this key senior role, the VP of Customer Implementations will manage the Customer Implementations and Delivery organization comprising of teams specializing in mobile applications and clients (on platforms such as iPhone or Android or Blackberry) development, server technologies & solutions development, quality assurance, creative design and project/delivery management, lead and inspire the teams by example, grow the overall team in terms of size, delivery capabilities and revenue, and continuously elevate the strength and efficiency of the team by mentoring and effective management.
Job Description
Reporting into the CEO of XXX India, the VP of Customer Implementations will have the following key responsibilities:
Only with mobile experience are highly preferred
§ Manage all aspects of the implementations and delivery customers worldwide
o Ensure the timely, high-quality and cost-effective delivery of mobile software projects
o Own the overall accountability, with the Project/Delivery Managers, for the end-to-end delivery of projects
o Perform project reviews on a consistent basis to ensure project delivery on time and budget
o Work with country based Account Managers to drive growth, quality and customer satisfaction.
o Interact with the Account Management teams to make sure onsite / offshore workflow and communications are optimized.
§ Manage and be fully responsible for the resource and personnel management aspects of the Customer Implementations and Delivery team
o Lead recruitment activities, working with the HR department so as to grow the team in size and capabilities, with the right resources and at the right pace
o Maintain high visibility into issues effecting employee satisfaction and happiness, while ensuring strategies are in place for ensuring highest levels of retention.
o Provide leadership to, develop and maintain an effective team through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review of all personnel
§ Work with rest of INDIA management team :
o To help grow the India branch into an innovation center from being an off-shore development/delivery center
o To come up with tools, processes and procedures to increase the delivery effectiveness, efficiency and capabilities of the delivery organization
§ Assist in, support and when necessary lead business development activities outside of the US, especially in India and AsiaPac
§ Maintain existing and establish new partners to increase the delivery capabilities of the Business Unit
§ Establish and implement a comprehensive professional development plan, including documented process and procedures for staff performance appraisals, progression and promotions, rewarding, effective training programs
§ Participate in the annual budgeting and planning process to ensure long term financial and business strategy

Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will meet all or a majority of the following educational and professional experience requirements:
§ A Bachelors degree in Engineering,
§ MBA Degree is plus(Not Mandatory)
§ Certifications :Prince2 or PMP or any project Management Certification is an Plus (Not an Mandatory)
§ 10+ Years experience in the software development field, with demonstrated experience working with customers, business and product management in leading the delivery of product and solution offerings
o of which 3+ years demonstrated experience in delivering mobile technology solutions
5+ Years experience in project, program or product management.§ Good understanding of and experience with off-shore software development model
§ Good understanding of development processes, quality & testing best practices
§ Demonstrated skills and experience in team building and mentoring
§ Demonstrated experience in a resource management role with a strong track record of managing attracting, recruiting and retaining IT talent.
§ Experience working with the any of the following smart phone platforms: iPhone, Android, Blackberry RIM, Windows Mobile (Atleast 2 years Mandatory)
§ Mature beyond their years with a solid track record of accomplishment
§ Experience with telecom carriers a strong plus
