Job Description

General Accounting                                               

GL Accounting,Reconciliations,Accruals & overall Controls.Support to achieve A rating under Balance Sheet Review.                                                        

-Periodic review of GL Subledger Trial Balance (every week) 

Inventory Management                                          

  Inventory Accounting,Reconciliation, Verification & Controls.             -

Ensure compliance with Orange Policy/AS.

'-Ensure proper recording receipts &  issues.Ensure accuracy of FG/Spares consumption.
'-Ensure accuracy in terms of inventory & stock reserve accounting.
'-Ensure regular controls over movement of inventory betwe

Management Reporting,Support                             

Efficient Management Reporting. Adhere to the time lines and ensure accuracy in terms of the numbers.Business support to Senior Management.                                                                         

-The preparation of Branch expense report
'-Providing analysis of reasons for movement in charge for major expenses & BS Comments for prepaid and stock schedule.
'-Timely responses to other requirements.

Budgeting                                                               

Support Orange Budgeting Process                 

Uploading of budget in Horizon as per Budget Schedules

 Rolling out departmental budgets and closely monitoring actual performance against the same.                                                                              

  Monitoring actual performance against Budget and compiling variance analysis for the same.

Others     Support to Process excellence initiative.  -Review current processes & suggest improvements,if any.

Understand & Improve usage of Oracle System and eliminate manual activities.    -Understand activities carried out manually and try to develop system reports to improve accuracy & efficiency in consultation with Oracle Consultant.
