 Now, we have this opening for Head – Business Operations with the above mentioned client in Gurgaon.

Head – Business Operations (Mobile Payment Services)

Unit description:

 The Mobile Financial Services (MFS) unit develops, sells and delivers mobile payment services. This enables customers to send money, pay bills, pay purchases and recharge prepaid SIM. We are operating in a complex ecosystem where multiple partners are involved in the digital service delivery to large customer base.

 Position Description:

This individual will be a member of the entity management team and responsible for leading the company operations organization which includes banking/financial operations, customer support, partner operations and security/fraud operations. This role is based in Gurgaon, and reports directly to the country head.

Key Tasks:

Develop and implement operations in support of company's strategy to create new category of mobile payments as the leapfrog from traditional banking to financial inclusion of the masses in India (Moving from 600 Million mobile phones and <100 Million bank accounts to 600 Million mobile financial/payment accounts, Develop and build world class customer service organization  in support of company's strategy to be the leading provider of mobile payments in India Develop and manage partner eco system to support company's strategy to be the leading provider of mobile payments in India. Implementation of Incident management process including identification, verification, monitoring, and resolution of incidents. Implement, manage and monitor security, risk, fraud and regulatory compliance processes and operations to support mobile payments services.  Identify and recruit top talent. Drive performance; and manage, motivate, develop individual contributors. Develop and own operations management infrastructure (including CRM) and processes. Co-ordinate all operations related activities across the entity.15+ years experience in developing and managing banking and financial operations. Proven experience at developing operations with highest level of quality. Masters degree. MBA, is highly desirable Financial services experience and understanding a must Experience should include being an integral part of an organization that has grown revenues from $0M to $ 200 million Strategic thinker (strategy consulting background is a plus) with an ability and desire to be hands on and directly participate in creation of world class operations. International/Global experience is a must. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels. Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow up. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast paced, service oriented, changing environment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in business process operations automation solutions as well as those that have substantial experience within the service provider space (operator, VAS services, hosting companies, managed service providers, etc.)
