Technical Skills-
Provide 3rd level Storage support for administration and Storage Solutions for following SAN Storage technology.
Hitachi, EMC, SUN, IBM, HP, Brocade, MDS and McData Fiber Channel Switches
On Backup technology: Net-Backup, Backup exec and TSM Tivoli, or other backup products and Disk base backups are desirable
Duties Include:
Provide 3rd level technical support, guidance and direction for above mentions products
Analyze and resolve escalated problems within SLA and provide RCA.
Ensure integrity of supported environment. Actively and pre-emptive determine possible faults and causes by the execution of pre-determined health and operational checks.
Work with change Management and problem management team and should know ITIL processes.
Hardware /software up gradation and fault detection and vendor liaison
Should maintain the capacity planning and up gradation based on projections
Document and implement changes to technical standards as required.
Ensure that customer satisfactory levels are exceeded
Experience : 8-12 Years of experience Required
Has applied knowledge in the Administration of windows NT/2000 or Linux systems /Solaris/AIX or Unix systems
Should have hands-on on NAS-NFS/CIFS, SAN- iSCSI, FCP, multipath, replication, Snapshot, Dedupe. NDMP.
Provide recommendations to improve the storage infrastructure, and address/lead critical issues
Proven track record in the implementation and execution of documented support processes and can direct others in same.
Desire to obtain formal certification in product set supported
Non Technical Skills :
Able to manage team (People Management)
Must have excellent team working skills balanced and a positive attitude.
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal.
