Job Description
Special Knowledge/Skills:
At least three years of experience offering technical support for databases that are Oracle or SQL based
Experience with Control-M
Ability to use SQLqueries to extract data and perform analysis
Prior helpdesk or IT support desk related experience required
Excellent problem solving and critical analysis skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to conceptualize a technical problem over the phone and devise a solution
Self Starting
ITIL knowledge is a plus
Ability to learn technology / applications rapidly
HP Openview Service Desk or similar ticketing system experience
Familiar with temporal data models and troublshooting temporal data
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist with day to day batch job scheduling and troubleshooting
Correctly prioritize requests with competing priorities
Assist with ongoing projects and initiatives
Ability to work a rotational oncall schedule
Adaptive to continual changes and fast paced environment in technology
