Job Description
What will you deliver?· Primary business interface during project, both internal and external.· Manage projects, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of time, budget, and quality.· Ensure the scope, schedule, and costs are reasonable and achievable.· Develop and manage project plans/schedules and budget.· Set expectations and maintain productive internal and external working relationships, become trusted advisor (guide scope/expectation).· Coordinate functional perspectives from within and outside the project teams.· Define project execution requirements;· Allocate work among team members and provide guidance on a regular basis.· Assign, allocate and manage resources on projects;· Ensure all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.· Handle project issues, trouble shooting, and resolution.· Responsible for overall time reporting and billing.· Responsible for documentation preparation.· Oversee project change management/status.· Define, support, and/or drive process improvements.· Ensure successful delivery of project to ensure positive internal and external service satisfaction.· Conduct periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conduct post-project reviews.· Motivate staff and create team cohesion.· Take ownership of own personal growth and career planning with support from Management.What will you bring?· Wide-ranging professional experience with a full understanding of industry practices and standard procedures.· Ability to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways.· Demonstrated track record of delivering high quality small, medium, and large projects.· Project management methodology and delegation experience using project tools to create project plans.· Interpersonal skills and ability to direct others.· Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).· Strong ability to identify and resolve problems.· Proven customer service skills and ability to resolve and manage customer issues.· Analytical thinking and problem solving, ability to work simultaneously on key priorities.· Leadership attributes necessary to oversee work activities and deliverables of others.Qualification’s· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Management Systems and/or equivalent related work experience.· Experience in database management, financial expertise and cross functional business experience preferred.· Certification or equivalent experience in project management.· 6 - 10 years work experience.· Understanding of telecom networks (GSM/CDMA/TDMA), IP networking, IMS, packet data; Prepaid and post paid real-time rating and charging; Telecom grade billing solutions.· Telecom (preferably wireless) software solutions deployment experience.View the original article here
