JD for Developing
Mobility is a strategic focus area for Cisco and one of the fastest growth segments for our SP customers.
As part of a world-class product and solutions organization, the selected candidate will work with the Development Engineering , QA teams, Product management and with other related engineering groups.
The position requires a strong background in SW design, development, documentation and implementation.
Develop software for the Cisco Mobile Internet Gateways. This includes GGSN, LTE GWs - PGW, SGW, content and subscriber-aware charging and policy control product for mobile wireless service providers. The candidate will also be involved with new products to be developed in the Mobile Internet Technology Group.
Strong working experience in networking technologies and protocols, Layer3 and above (IP, IPv6, TCP, UDP,HTTP and Application protocols)
Understanding and working experience of GTP, Mobile IP, TCP/IP, IPv6, AAA protocols, RADIUS, Diameter, DPI technologies, HTTP, WAP etc
Good understanding of OS concepts, strong knowledge of data structures and good experience in 'C' coding is a must.
Strong SW design, testing and debugging skills
Development Exposure/Experience on GSM,GPRS,UMTS,CDMA, Policy control and LTE technologies is a plus. Superior bug fixing and testing skills.
7+year of Software Design and Development experience required.
Soft-skills:
Interact with various functions and teams of the product, including Product marketing, Test, Account teams etc.
