Job Location              : HYDERABAD

Job Type                    : On Permanent Rolls of EA India

Eligibility

Experience Range    : 3 to 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience

Required Skills Knowledge and understanding of Accounts Receivable transaction processing.Expertise in Deduction ManagementStrong systems background particularly with respect to Oracle Financials, Oracle Receivables, and Oracle Order Management 11i.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Roles & Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Overview

The EA Accounts Receivable Operations department has overall responsibility for all North America AR activities including but not limited to: AR transaction processing, Deduction management, SOX process/procedural compliance, financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and overall audit responsibility for the Order to Cash cycle.

On average, the team manages a gross trade receivable balance of $200M.

Analyst – Accounts Receivable

 Key responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for executing all AR activities in accordance with stated policies and procedures for assigned duties.  This position requires full participation in inter-departmental initiatives, while demonstrating the company value and proactively working to increase internal process efficiencies, controllership and maximizing levels of internal and external customer service.

Daily responsibilities  Ability to handle complex customer portfolio with large number of customer transactions Ability to prioritize assigned daily workflow Reconciliation of (research and resolution) assigned AR accounts to the GL sub ledger Responsible for sustained knowledge of customer contract agreements and vendor compliance guidelinesAbility to understand customer’s contract in relation to deductions and identify possible riskAbility to review, identify, manage and resolve customer deductionsAbility to track, distinguish between different types of deductions and reconcile accordinglyReconciliation of post audit items for select accountsManage internal and external auditor requestsKnowledge of "ERP Super user" tasks for Oracle 11i, recommend system improvements, test , manage work flow matrix and organize system documentationEducation of the AR team and related teams regarding ERP changesKnowledge of SOX and process documentationAbility to work on projects and meet deadlinesMonth End Close  Working knowledge of month end close process and assists Manager and Specialist in all aspects of close process Participates in month end and quarter end close
