Software Engineer: Change Management

Job Description :
Looking to hire an enthusiastic engineer with 6 - 10 years of experience to develop and sustain Dell Update Packages for different devices supported by DELL servers of current and future generations. Engineer will shoulder the complete responsibility of supporting the Framework for DUPs, scripts as needed to develop the Update packages, working with different device teams within DELL as Update packages are depended on deliverables from device teams.
Responsibilites
· Responsible for developing/sustaining Frameworks and other related components for Dell Update Packages for the devices supported by DELL Servers [ all generations ]. Responsibility will include current and future generation servers
· Work with internal teams within Open Manage and external teams within DELL to deliver DUPs; Will involve some amount of Project management to work with different teams as DUPs are depended on deliverable from other teams
· Working in parallel projects that form part of Change Management product roadmap and other engineering challenges that will help us to deliver high quality products to customer steam.
Skills Required :
· Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a very positive attitude
· Collaboration is the key to success and hence Required skill
· Strong Windows knowledge
· Trouble shooting Hardware/Software issues related to Change management products
· Strong Programming Skills with the ability to pickup new technical skills as quickly as possible based on project demands
· Proficient in C++, scripting, Windows OS
· Review requirements and drill down to details to drive a smooth Software development cycles in an Agile environment
· Drive to deliver high quality software
Preferred
· Linux working knowledge
· Knowledge of DELL Server Management Software
